After that, we can no longer complain about our Postal Service
It's right the the French Postal Service (La Poste) is not
always satisfying (astronomical delays, sometimes surprising costs,
long queues, etc.) But we can no longer complain, there's worse.
Much worse.
Recently, China was the theater where was trialed the Mianyang
post office for selling about 2,100,000 letters from an advertisment
campaign to a paper recycling company. Double whammy: Payed to route
2.5 million letters, the post office was earning more money without
even minding to send these to more than one willing receiver.
I wonder whether we must rejoice in seeing the correlative reduction
in SPAM/paper advertisment?
United States of A. are still SPAM champions
According to Sophos, the Top-5 SPAM producers are now:
- United States of America: 26.35%
- South Korea: 19.73%
- China: 15.70%
- France 3.46%
- Brazil: 2.67%
Nothing to be proud for France (even if it is far behind China).

The crook will pay too
Exceptionally, here are good news about the nigerian scams. The
finance crimes brnach of Lagos (Nigeria) police just announced it's
giving back 4.5 million US Dollard to Juliana Ching, an 86 year
old Chinese woman who previously fell victim of a scammer. It's
rare enough that I wanted to point it to you all.

Financial help for SpamAnti.net
This month, there is a change on our SpamAnti.net web site. In
order to bring some financial support to the development and the
maintenance of the site, I decided to add some advertisement on
the pages of SpamAnti.net.
I hope this will not be a nuisance during your visit. In most cases,
I expect them to be useful to the visitors.
The ads are provided by Google AdSense that pays for the number
of recorded mouse clicks (each time a visitor clicks an ad, I
get a small amount of money). I am in no risk to live of that
(let alone become an Internet tycoon), but it will help the web
site survive (after all it's been nearly 10 years that we exist
from Compuserve to Magic, Noos and Goélette).
