The true reason behind SPAM
Did you wonder why SPAM exists? Stop wondering. A study from Marshall
showed that 29% of the polled Internet users admit they bought something
from a SPAM message.
Spammers are right: The more they stuff our mailboxes, the bigger
their turnover.
The solution: Never buy from these "offers".
SPAM: tags cloud
Thomas Hawk took the 100 most recent SPAM messages received in
his email. He sevred them into a tag-cloud generator (Wordle). The
result? An interesting tag cloud:

You want to publish your email address without risking to see it
grabbed by some spammer's robot. It is as easy as using an image
instead of the usual text in the post of your blog.
It does not work for Google, Yahoo and other major web sites. Hackers
are ready to write a specific character recognition software to
hit them. But for a reasonably small web site like yours or mine...
